Sinar Mas Land's Strategy to Support Proptech's Growth
JAKARTA - Sinar Mas Land is now preparing to support the growth of property technology (prop-tech), to target the property needs of the community.
This step is based on a report by the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) which states that internet users in the middle of this year have increased by around 210 million. Among them, the use of the internet itself has penetrated various industrial lines including property.
Sinar Mas Land's Chief Transformation Officer, Mulyawan Gani said that his party is ready to transform the company's digital ecosystem by extending its business to Living Lab Ventures (LLV).
"This is an investment arm that we have prepared to encourage technological innovation through acceleration and funding of startups in Indonesia", said Mulyawan in his statement quoted on Thursday, October 27.
According to Mulyawan, since its launch in the middle of this year, LLV has received a positive response from prop-tech startups, starting from the property search side, property loans, and financing, to co-living.
