Synergy Between Central Java Police And Central Java IDI In Providing Legal Certainty For Doctors And Patients
SEMARANG - Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi said the Central Java Police would provide legal protection and certainty for doctors and recipients of health services. This was conveyed by the Regional Police Chief following the Scientific Problem Solving discussion between IDI officials and the Central Java Police.
The Regional Police Chief explained that Scientific Problem Solving was to provide light on cases related to handling related to evidence, expert statements, letters and so on related to the medical profession.
In addition, it also discusses cooperation and to determine legal steps if in the medical profession there are allegations of malpractice activities.
"So that in the future it is hoped that the medical profession and the police can synergize together without any elements of violating the law in serving the community, especially in handling patients," said Ahmad Luthfi, in a written statement, Wednesday, October 19.
Meanwhile, the General Chairperson of PB IDI, dr. Mohammad Adib Khumaidi said this activity was a follow-up to the MoU that had been previously made at the national level between IDI's top management and the National Police Chief.

He considers this MoU very important because IDI members in providing health services require legal protection efforts so that they can work properly in accordance with applicable regulations and laws in Indonesia. At the same time, to equate the steps of the medical profession with the police, especially in providing health education to the public.
