Reveal 6 Gambling Cases with 11 Suspects: East Jakarta Police Arrest a Woman Gamblers Online at Warnet
JAKARTA - East Jakarta Metro Police officers uncovered 6 gambling cases during the period from August 22, 2022, to September 1, 2022. East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Commissioner Budi Sartono, said the disclosures were two cases related to online gambling, while the other four cases were conventional gambling.
"There are 11 suspects who have been arrested. Evidence of money, cellphones, coupons, wallets, recap sheets, and books", said Budi Sartono in Jakarta, Friday, September 2.
Budi added that of the several suspects who were arrested, one of them was a woman who was caught playing online gambling at an internet shop (Warnet).
"This is the woman at the internet cafe in Kramat Jati. She was arrested by the Kramat Jati police, playing at the internet cafe", said Budi.

Budi said that his party would continue to take action against gamblers in the East Jakarta area.
As a result of their actions, the suspects are threatened with Article 303 of the Criminal Code concerning gambling acts with a maximum imprisonment of ten years or a maximum fine of IDR 25 million.
