Kembangan Police Member who Ordered Journalists To Talk To Trees To Be Examined By Propam
JAKARTA - The Profession and Security Division (Propam) of the Metro Jaya Police has examined a member of the Metro Kembangan Police, West Jakarta, regarding the case of ordering journalists to talk to trees.
"So the person concerned has been questioned by the Propam of Regional Police, Propam of Resort Police as well," said Head of the Public Relations Section of the West Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Muhammad Taufik, quoted by Antara, Thursday, September 1.
Of course, he said, if it was found that there had been a violation, strict action would be taken. Taufik could not confirm when the examination of the member with the rank of Officer of the Criminal Investigation Unit was completed.
At the same time, the West Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Pol Pasmaeng, visited the media involved in the dispute, namely the MNC Group.
To MNC in Central Jakarta, Pasma said the relationship between the police and the media was going well.
