AKP I Ketut Agus Wardana Who Used Methamphetamine Was Removed, The East Java Police Appointed A New Sukodono Police Chief

SURABAYA - The East Java Regional Police appointed AKP Suprianta as the definitive Chief of the Sukodono, Sidoarjo, Sector Police. He replaced AKP I Ketut Agus Wardana, because he tested positive for drugs when he was raided by the East Java Police Propam at the Sukodono Police Headquarters.

"Starting today AKP I Ketut Agus Wardana is officially removed from his position as the Sukodono Police Chief. Meanwhile, Supriatna, who was previously the Daily Executive, is now officially the definitive Sukodono Police Chief", said the Head of Public Relations of the East Java Police, Commissioner Dirmanto at the East Java Police Headquarters in Surabaya, Thursday, August 25.

Dirmanto emphasized that only three of the five police officers were detained by the East Java Regional Police Propam (Police's Professional and Security Division). The three police officers tested positive for drugs and are now being held at the East Java Police Propam. While the remaining two police officers were negative.

"Because it was found that three people were positive for using methamphetamine, including the police chief", he said.

Dirmanto confirmed that the three police officers were the Chief of Police of Sukodono with the rank of AKP and two of his members with the rank of Aiptu. The remaining two police officers are handled by the Sidoarjo Police for investigation.
