KENDARI - The Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Government has formed a data security team called the "Computer Security Incident Response Team of Southeast Sulawesi" (Sultraprov-CSIRT) to protect data from cybercrimes.

The Governor of Southeast Sulawesi, Ali Mazi, in Kendari, Monday, June 27, said that the higher cybercrime, the need for data and information protection owned by central and regional government institutions/institutions to become increasingly important in order to avoid data leakage or theft by irresponsible parties.

"Observing these conditions, the Southeast Sulawesi Government continues to take steps forward, adaptively, and responsively in terms of securing and protecting data and information owned by the regional government from cybercrime, namely forming the "Computer Security Incident Response Team of Southeast Sulawesi" or Sultraprov-CSIRT," said the Governor when launching the team.
