As WWE's Highest Earning Female Wrestler, Ronda Rousey's Net Worth Reaches IDR 190 Billion: More Than Floyd Mayweather

JAKARTA - One of the most famous female mixed martial arts artists in the world, Ronda Rousey is also an Olympic-level judoka and an actress.

She participated in the 2008 Olympics, where she became the first American female athlete to win a medal by securing bronze.

Following that milestone, Rousey embarked on a highly successful career in MMA, becoming the first woman to ever sign a UFC deal, as well as the first UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion and the first woman to be inducted into the UFC Hall Of Fame.

Now at WWE, no female wrestler earns more than Rousey, who is reported to have signed a $1.5 million-a-year contract.

Going back to 2015, Rousey has no qualms about claiming that she makes more money than the famous boxer Floyd Mayweather.

"I really did the math and, considering the number of my last fights, I'm actually the highest-paid UFC fighter and I'm a woman," she told TMZ at the time.

"I think I actually make two to three times more than he (Mayweather) earns per second, so when he learns to read and write he can text me," she continued.

So, what is Rousey's net worth? Speaking at a press conference in 2015, Rousey emphasized that she is the highest-paid fighter due to the sheer amount of number she carries. As of 2022, her net worth is estimated to be around $13 million.

"I think how much you get paid has to do with how much you bring in," she said.

"I'm the highest-paid fighter not because Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta want to do something good for women."

"They do it because I make the highest amount. They do it because I make the most money for them. I think the money they make should be in proportion to the money they bring in."
