Suzuki's Joan Mir Consistent At The Beginning Of The 2022 MotoGP Season: Let's Continue Like This
JAKARTA - Suzuki Ecstar racer, Joan Mir feels his performance is much better in the 2022 MotoGP. He hopes that he can achieve better results in the European series later.
Suzuki and Mir did show consistent performances at the start of the 2022 MotoGP. Although they have never been on the podium, Mir has also never been out of the top six positions.
In the Qatar and Mandalika MotoGP races, Joan Mir finished sixth. While in MotoGP Argentina and the United States, the Spaniard finished fourth.
"I think in Europe we will make the touches that we are missing at the moment. In Argentina, we did a very good race, in Mandalika also wet. In Qatar, we saw that we were missing something. But the truth is, from Qatar until now, I feel much better," said Joan Mir on the official MotoGP website.
"We started making races like 2020, from less to more and trying to give 100 percent of the potential of our bike. So let's continue like that," he added.

The 2020 MotoGP champion said his team had a chance to achieve better results. The key is to continue to focus on being able to make the next match with this bike.
"I feel we can do it. We will fight again for a good position at the end of the season, I'm sure," he said.
However, before achieving that, there are still shortcomings that Mir and Suzuki must address. The 24-year-old racer assessed that his performance in the qualifying round was an obstacle for him to reach the podium.
"Qualification is something we have to improve on, we have to put everything together and make it better. It's true that if the pace had been better, our lap times would have been better. So we are not far from the other teams," said Mir.
