CCTV Recorded, Thieves Steal 2 Charity Boxes And A Yamaha R25
JAKARTA - Two charity boxes and a motor sport unit were stolen by thieves on Monday, March 21, yesterday. The theft took place at a restaurant, Pondok Kelapa Raya Street, in front of the Malacca Public Cemetery (TPU), Duren Sawit, East Jakarta.
"One person, he is also an employee here, he has been working here for more than a month, he lives above a shophouse," said Rizky (26), one of the employees who became the victim to reporters, Tuesday, March 22.
Based on CCTV footage that highlighted the incident, it appears that the perpetrator took two charity boxes and a unit of Rizky's Yamaha R25 sport motorbike.
"So it happened at 02.00 western Indonesia time, he took two charity boxes, broke them above the shophouse, then at 02.30 western Indonesia time, he was ready to take the motorbike away," he said.
At the time of the incident, the conditions in the restaurant and the surrounding environment were quiet. Other employees were also fast asleep so they didn't realize the perpetrator's actions.
"He acted when the others were fast asleep," he said.

Rizky suspected that the perpetrators already knew the location of each key. Both motorcycle keys, charity boxes, and rolling doors.
"He already knows where the keys are, the padlock keys, the motorcycle keys," he said.
After destroying two charity boxes and a motorbike, the perpetrators closed the rolling door again.
The perpetrator turned on the stolen motorcycle engine in front of the shop so as not to make a noise that could wake other employees.
"At that time the motorbike was placed in the middle, behind it there were two more motorbikes. Two motorbikes were shifted to the side. My motorbike was pushed back out. When he came out, the rolling door was closed again, the motorbike was turned on outside the shophouse," he said.
The price of the victim's sports motorbike is around IDR 30 million. Meanwhile, the total money in the two charity boxes is estimated at IDR 8 million.
Now his party has reported the case to the Duren Sawit Police so that it can be followed up immediately.
