JAKARTA - Philippe Coutinho has returned to impress with Aston Villa. He scored a goal in Aston Villa's 3-0 win over Leeds United in Week 20 of the 2021/2022 English Premier League.

In the match at Elland Road Stadium on Friday, March 11 in the morning Indonesian Western Time (WIB), Coutinho opened Aston Villa's victory over Leeds. Coutinho scored in the 22nd minute, followed by goals from Matty Cash and Calum Chambers.

The goal made Coutinho's slick nick with The Villans even more beautiful. Since being brought from Barcelona on loan, Coutinho has recorded four goals and three assists for Aston Villa!

Coutinho's extraordinary performance made Aston Villa manager, Steven Gerrard, happy. He admitted that he was very happy with the presence of the Brazilian player at Villa Park.

Despite Gerrard's hopes for Coutinho, this victory over Leeds is a good record for Aston Villa. Now they can move up to ninth position in the Premier League standings, which is their highest position since early October 2021.
