12-Year-Old Boy Desperately Jumps from Motorcycle when Kidnapped by Unemployed Men in South Tangerang

SOUTH TANGERANG – ASS, a 12-year-old boy managed to escape from a kidnapping attempt by DFR (22). ASS, managed to escape after daring to jump from an automatic motorbike brought by the perpetrator, a Honda Scoopy.

The kidnapping, which occurred on Sunday, January 2, last afternoon, took place at the Kreasi Pamulang Indah Housing Complex, Bakti Jaya, Setu, South Tangerang. ASS or the victim, at that time, was playing with his friends.

At that time, the perpetrator approached the victim on his motorbike. He approached the victim while pretending to ask for the address and admitted that he could not use the google maps application.

Next, the victim was asked by the perpetrator to take him to the intended address. The victim got on the motorbike. While on the road, the motorbike accelerated to the Bogor area via Mount Sindur. On the way, the perpetrator groped the victim's body who was scared.

"Not the genitals but maybe around the thighs or legs in the knee area," said South Tangerang Police Chief AKBP Sarly Sollu to reporters, quoted on Saturday, January 15.

The victim struggled and looked for an opportunity to escape. Arriving at the Pabuaran area, Bogor, the victim was desperate to jump. There happened to be a lot of people watching a football match.

"Coinciding with the soccer field where there was playing ball activity, the victim fled by jumping and then screaming for help, so the perpetrator fled from the field," said Sarly Sollu.

After conducting an investigation, the police finally managed to apprehend the kidnappers at the Kreasi Pamulang Indah Housing Complex, Bakti Jaya, Setu, South Tangerang (Tangsel). The perpetrator is unemployed. He was arrested on Friday, January 14, at around 03.00 western Indonesia time at his home in the Lengkong Wetan area, Serpong.

The arrest of DFR was carried out based on the characteristics and license plate of the perpetrator's vehicle which was monitored by CCTV.

"We will see the license plate of this motorbike, we will check it, we will go to the address," said Sarly.

It turned out that the motorbike used by the perpetrator belonged to a friend. The perpetrator borrowed a motorbike with the excuse of just taking a walk to get some fresh air.

"The perpetrator borrowed his friend's motorbike for a walk," he explained.

After the examination, the perpetrator only lured the victim with wages, which was accompanied by threats to obey the perpetrator's wishes.

"There were no sharp weapons or other objects that would be used for threats," he said.
