Leipzig Vs Man City: Defeated 1-2, The Citizens Still Top The Standings

JAKARTA - RB Leipzig successfully beat Manchester City with a score of 2-1 in the last match of Group A of the Champions League at Red Bull Arena on Wednesday morning, western Indonesia time.

Two Leipzig goals were created by Domink Szoboszlai and Andre Silva. While City can only reply through Riyad Mahrez.

This defeat did not change the position of the City as a group winner. They are only one point ahead of PSG who sit in second place.

While this victory is important for Leipzig, who managed to ensure a ticket to the Europa League.

As quoted by Antara, City fielded a coating squad in this match.

This can be used by the home team who immediately took the initiative to attack.

In the 15th minute, Leipzig got its first golden opportunity. Ake gag was met by Laimer's effort from a tight angle which forced Steffen to make an important save.
