Responding To The Indonesian National Team's Victory Over Antalyaspor, Chairman Of PSSI: Performance Is Increasing

JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team achieved sweet results again in a test match in Turkey. Winning against Antalyaspor, PSSI General Chairman (Ketum) Mochamad Iriawan acknowledged the increased performance of the Garuda squad.

The Indonesian national team faced Antalyaspor at the Limax Football Complex, Turkey. In a match that was held on Sunday, November 28, the national team managed to close this match with a 4-0 victory.

The series of four goals without reply for the national team was inscribed by Ricky Kambuaya in the 54th minute, followed by Witan Sulaeman in the 58th minute, Ezra Walian in the 81st minute, and closed by Evan Dimas in the 90th minute.

The slick achievement of the national team in Turkey was well received by the chairman of PSSI, Iriawan said he was happy and said that the team made by Shin Tae-yong managed to show a significant increase in performance.

"Thank God, today (yesterday, red) the Indonesian national team won over Antalyaspor," said Iriawan, quoted from the official PSSI website.

"They (Antalyaspor) are a strong team in the Turkish League, the graphics of the (Indonesian) team are very clear and the players' confidence is increasing ahead of the 2020 AFF Cup," he continued.

Regarding the performance improvement that was revealed by Iriawan, it was also because he reflected on the results of the two previous test matches. In the first trial against Afghanistan, Indonesia lost 0-1, then against Myanmar won 4-1, and finally against Antalyaspor again won 4-0.

Although happy and feeling that the Garuda squad is getting stronger, Iriawan advised the national team members not to be complacent. Moreover, the 2020 AFF Cup is in sight.

"Players must always work hard, focus, and don't be complacent. The 2020 AFF Cup is in sight, we hope that the Indonesian national team will achieve the best results in the event," he said.

Several test match agendas and training camps that were recently carried out by the national team in Turkey were serious efforts to boost the team's performance. Because, in December, the Indonesian national team will appear in the 2020 AFF Cup which will be held in Singapore.
