Minister Ngeyel Busy Candidates Ahead Of 2024, Kornas Asks Jokowi To Intervene To Reprimand

JAKARTA - The General Chair of the National Corvette of Jokowi, Abdul Havid Permana, asked President Joko Widodo to immediately evaluate the performance of the ministers in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet.

This is because several ministers seem busy with individual agendas, especially in welcoming the 2024 presidential election. According to him, President Jokowi must strongly rebuke ministers who are busy preparing for the presidential election.

"Both those from political parties and professionals", said Abdul Havid to reporters, Friday, November 12.

Havid reminded that ministers who have recently seemed busy with their personal and group interests should return to their duties to serve the people. Moreover, from the start, President Jokowi emphasized that there was no ministerial vision and mission, only the vision and mission of the president and vice president.

"But they're still nagging", he said.

If it is true that President Jokowi will carry out a cabinet reshuffle soon, Havid hopes that the ranks of ministers will be filled with more professionals.

"Because we assess that ministers from political parties will leave the president in 2022", he said.

Previously, the PDIP government coalition political party did not mind that there were ministers who were diligent in socializing the presidential candidate in 2024.

The chairman of the PDIP Central Executive Board, Andreas Hugo Pareira, said that there is no prohibition on socializing the minister wanting to run for president as long as the person concerned does not use state facilities. It should be remembered, he said, that ministers are assistants to the president whose performance is assessed and monitored by the House of Representatives.

"The House of Representatives carries out supervision, there is no questioning the campaign minister or spreading charm. As long as the minister's performance remains good, of course, he will work seriously to show that he wants to be a presidential candidate. Logically if he wants to be a presidential candidate he must show a good performance and that benefits the government, "explained Andreas at the House of Representatives Building, Thursday, November 11.

"If you use it for a campaign, it will have a negative effect. I still see it as normal. If you use state facilities, it will be wrong", he continued.
