Jakpro Debts IDR 2.8 Trillion With Interest To Build Sunter ITF
JAKARTA - Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Owned Enterprise Development Agency (BP BUMD), Riyadi said PT Jakarta Propertindo used a loan scheme to be able to carry out the construction of the Sunter Intermediate Treatment Facility (ITF).
"A loan of IDR 2.8 trillion for ITF Sunter," said Riyadi to reporters, Thursday, November 4.
Riyadi said that the capital loan would be proposed by the DKI Provincial Government to PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero). So, later Jakpro owes it to the DKI Provincial Government.
He admitted that the loan will be accompanied by interest. "Yes (there is interest), but I don't think it's too big. I don't know the figure because it depends on the PT SMI," said Riyadi.
The Sunter ITF development debt is not included in the national economic recovery loan (PEN) which is widely used by local governments during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Separately, the Head of the DKI Jakarta Environmental Agency, Asep Kuswanto, revealed that the money loan scheme is a way out for new sources of funding.
