Ferry Irawan's Family Not Receiving Called "Parasit"

JAKARTA - Since cases of alleged Domestic Violence (KDRT) have emerged to the public, Ferry Irawan is often referred to as a parasite for Venna Melinda by netizens.

The reason is, Venna Melinda on many occasions said that Ferry Irawan had not provided a living in the last three months. In fact, the actor who is now detained by the East Java Regional Police is said to often ask for money for fees, transactions at e-commerce and pay debts.

Not accepting that Ferry is called a parasite, Maya, Ferry Irawan's younger brother admitted that he was disappointed. He said his brother was not what netizens considered. Maya stated that Fry also has his own income.

"Disappointed, yes, that's for sure. Because my brother is actually not a parasite, he also earns. So sad for sure, my brother is really sorry, it seems like it's outside," Maya said during a press conference in the Kemang area, South Jakarta.

Maya menyatakan bahwa ia merasakan sendiri uang dari hasil pekerjaan sang kakak. Tasanya sebagai adik yang melihat langsung enggak seperti itu. Kita kepada-mana juga dia yang membayarkan kok. Kalau kita mau bayar, dia berkata 'udah Abi, uang kamu buat anak-anak saja', sambungnya.

On several occasions, Maya also asked what her brother was doing. There, Ferry stated that he got endorsements. At the end of 2022, Maya was also invited by her sister and Venna Melinda's family to go on vacation.

Ary, Ferry's other brother also agreed with Maya's statement. In fact, Ary stated the same thing as what Ferry had revealed before he was detained. "Because Mr. Ferry is an endorsement that is managed by Venna. So all of Ferry's income goes to Venna," he said.

Regarding the news that Ferry was signed by the police when he left Surabaya to Jakarta, the family also denied it. Sunan Kalijaga representing the family stated the news as an attempt to demean Ferry.
