JAKARTA - ChatGPT maker OpenAI is expected to announce an increase in products that will make its AI model more affordable, with more functionality, in its first developer conference on Monday, November 6.

The conference marked OpenAI's ambition to develop into a successful developer platform provider, and CEO Sam Altman has teased the participants with the promise of "some great new things."

The one-day event, which took place in a remote area of San Francisco near City Hall, attracted hundreds of developers from around the world. The rapidly growing AI sector has become a bright spot for San Francisco's economy, which has struggled to recover from the pandemic.
