Ramadan Sananta Optimism Can Open Goal Faucet At The 2023 SEA Games In The Indonesia U-22 Vs Myanmar National Team Match

JAKARTA - The U-22 Indonesian national team will undergo the second match of the 2023 SEA Games group stage in Cambodia against Myanmar. Ahead of the match which will take place on Thursday, May 4, enthusiasm and optimism were shown by the U-22 national team player, Ramadhan Sananta.

The player who occupies the striker's position has a good target ahead of the second match. Sananta is determined to score her first goal and is optimistic that she can open the scoring for Garuda Nusantara.

"God willing, tomorrow I want to score a goal," said Sananta as quoted by PSSI's official website on Wednesday, May 3.

Sananta's optimism does not only come from within her. This belief arises because so far the U-22 national team has recorded good results in the inaugural match.

Indra Sjafri's team now have three points after winning 3-0 in the inaugural match against the Philippines on April 29, 2023.

With a qualified note, it is not impossible that the good trend can be repeated in the second match later. Apart from being increasingly confident in the three-point capital, Sananta also said that the national team was so excited because of the fairly thorough preparation.

"Of course we are very ready. In terms of tactics, the entire team is also ready," he explained.

On the other hand, Sananta also did not forget to encourage team-mates to perform optimally against Myanmar. Based on the evaluation of the first match against the Philippines, the Red and White team was late in heat and had difficulty building attacks.

In that match, Marselino et al were only able to score goals at the end of the first and second half. A number of individual mistakes are also often seen on the field.

"Yesterday's match (against the Philippines) was very difficult, especially in the very hot weather. Hopefully later we can play better," said the PSM Makassar player.
