JAKARTA - The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, mourned the death of 4 Indonesian Air Force officers. The four of them were crews of 2 Super Tucano fighter aircraft who had an accident while practicing in Pasuruan, East Java (East Java). "On behalf of myself, the DPR, and the people of Indonesia, I would like to express my deep condolences for the death of 4 Indonesian Air Force personnel who died while carrying out a training mission to maintain Indonesia's sovereignty,” said Puan, Friday, November 17. The 4 Indonesian Air Force officers who died after two Super Tucano training planes had an accident were Colonel Pnb Subhan, Colonel Adm Widiono, Lt. Col. Pnb Sandhra Gunawan, and Major Yuda Pnb A Seta. They are crews of 2 fighter aircraft that crashed in two different locations in the slopes of Mount Bromo in Pasuruan on Thursday, November 16 yesterday. Prior to the accident, the two fighter aircraft were undergoing formation proficiency training which was actually used to being carried out by Indonesian Air Force pilots. The two plane that crashed were part of 4 aircraft carrying out training missions. Puan said the fighter plane crash that occurred not only left sorrow for the families of the victims and the Indonesian Air Force, but also for all Indonesian people. "The fall of 4 of our best soldiers is not only a sorrow for the families of the victims and the extended family of the Indonesian Air Force, but also for the whole nation.
