Alex Tirta Examined By Polda Metro 12 Hours, Admits Rental Of House In Kertanegara And Continued By Firli Bahuri

JAKARTA - The Daily Chairperson of the Central Provincial Management of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PP PBSI) DKI Jakarta Tirta Juwana Darmadji (Alex Tirta) was questioned for 12 hours at Polda Metro Jaya.

He was questioned in connection with the alleged extortion case by the KPK leadership against former Agriculture Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL).

"Today's examination has been completed and I have conveyed everything to investigators, so everything has been done," said Alex when met at Polda Metro Jaya as reported by ANTARA, Friday, November 3.

When asked about the number of questions asked by investigators, Alex admitted that he had forgotten.

"Maybe a dozen. I don't remember, there are also many, around 19 (questions)," he said.

Alex, who was questioned since 09.28 WIB, explained the problem of the house on Kertanegara Street Number 46, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. He explained that the house was rented in his name.

"That I did rent the Kertanegara house and it was forwarded by him. But it was in my name. So I explained it to the investigators. So that's all right," he said.

Alex said the house was rented to KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri for Rp. 650 million.

Alex Tirta fulfilled the summons of Polda Metro Jaya investigators to be investigated in connection with the alleged extortion case by the KPK leadership against former Agriculture Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL), Friday.
