Inter-Registration Of Ganjar-Mahfud To KPU, Megawati: New Hope For The Indonesian People

JAKARTA - PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri delivered registration for the Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD duo as a candidate for presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2024 Presidential Election to the KPU, Thursday, October 18.

In her speech starting to register, Megawati called the Ganjar-Mahfud pair a new hope for the Indonesian people.

"Of course we ask for the prayers of all Indonesian people for the pair Pak Ganjar and Pak Mahfud MD," said Megawati in the KPU registration room, Thursday, October 18.

"Both of them are encouraging new hope for the Indonesian people. Both will accelerate the prosperity and superior power of the nation. Both have committed one commitment in upholding justice," he continued.

Megawati mengatakan, Ganjar dan Mahfud MD merupakan sosok yang jujur, bersih, berpengalaman dengan kualitas yang mumpuni. "Kepada mereka berdua harapan baru Indonesia raya diletakan supaya nyata," katanya.

Megawati said all required documents had been inputted to Silon. It also brings physical documents as part of the registration procedure for candidate pairs.

"Furthermore, we entrust the KPU to carry out all verification of these documents," said Megawati. "We hope that elections can really be carried out more democratically, honestly, fairly, directly, freely, and confidentially, and place the people as the winner of the highest sovereignty in determining their national leader freely and independently," he concluded.
