JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) asked volunteers to be patient about the figure he will support in the 2024 General Election.

He made this statement when giving a speech at the Projo National Working Meeting, at the Bung Karno Gelora Arena, Senayan, Jakarta, Saturday, October 14.

"So, who do we want to choose? I have told you grusa grusu ojo. Second, I tell you ojo kesusu. The third I say don't be in a hurry, later when the time comes everyone will know," said Jokowi.

The decision of the person who is supported has not yet made a number of parties uneasy. In fact, it is not uncommon for Indonesian politics to judge too complicated.

Nevertheless, Jokowi still asked the volunteers to be patient. At the right time, everything will be announced.

"So who do we choose? Be patient first. Be patient and be patient... Be patient......... there will come a time," he said.

At the end of his speech, Jokowi joked if the person he would support was not present at the Projo National Working Meeting.

"So don't push me to say who I am today. Because also the person is not here," said Jokowi.

For information, the event was attended by a number of leaders of political parties, such as Golkar Chairman Airlangga Hartarto, Democratic Chairman Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, UN Chairman Yusril Ihza Mahendra, PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan, and Gelora Chairman Anis Matta.

Then, the Deputy Chairperson of the Gerindra Board of Trustees Hashim Djojohadikusumo and the Daily Chair of Gerindra Sufmi Dasco Ahmad were also present.
