YOGYAKARTA - Vice President (Vice President) KH Ma'ruf Amin again made a working visit in Papua Province, Papua Province Mountains, and South Papua Province. As reported from his official explanation, Monday (9/10/2023), using the Indonesian National Army Presidential Air Force (TNI) Boeing 737-400, at 09.00 WIB, the Vice President took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base towards Sultan Hasanuddin Air Force Base, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi.

In Makassar City, the Vice President will see the Ground Breaking of the Hajjah Mosque Construction Process Andi Nurhadi and the Laying of the First Rock of AAS International Hospital. After that, at 15.30 WITA, the Vice President is scheduled to continue his flight to Sentani Jayapura Airport, Papua Province.

After traveling approximately 3 hours 25 minutes, at 19.55 East Indonesian Time (WIT) the Vice President and Mrs. Hj. Wury Ma Ruf Amin will come to Sentani Jayapura airport, greeted by Acting Governor of Papua M. Ridwan Ruikutun and members of the Papua Province Forkopimda.

The next day, Tuesday (10/10/2023), the Vice President will focus on activities at the Papua Governor's Office with several schedules, such as accepting humanitarian activists for Human Rights and Peace, accepting leaders of the Indigenous Papuan Employers Association, and chairing the Coordination Meeting of the Papuan Handling Agency (BPP) with Planning Readiness and Implementation of the Development of Facilities Centers and Provincial Government Infrastructures in 4 New Autonomous Regions (DOB) and Other Supporting Policies.

On the 3rd day of the working visit, Wednesday (11/10/2023), the Vice President will hold several schedules, including receiving the Fellowship of the Papuan Churches (PGGP), West Papua PGG, and the Papua Christian Center (PCC).

Not only that, at the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) Jayapura, Papua, the Vice President is scheduled to visit the Submission of a Complete Systematic Land Registration Certificate (PTSL). As the Head of the Coordination Team for the National Sports Center (DBON), the Vice President will also hold discussions with Papuan sports leaders at the Papua Bangkit Main Stadium, Jayapura.

After carrying out activities in Jayapura, Papua, the Vice President left for Wamena Airport, Papua Province, Mountains, using a Hercules VIP Plane, Thursday (12/10/2023). In the city, the Vice President will visit the Laying of the First Stone Facilities and Infrastructure of the Papua Province Mountains, and meet the ranks of the Papua Mountains Provincial Government, the Regents of Papua Mountains, and community leaders in Papua Mountains.

On the same day, the Vice President will continue his flight to Mopah Airport, Merauke, South Papua Province to carry out the signing of the First Stone Laying Inscription and Infrastructure of the South Papua Provincial Government Office.

After carrying out all series of activities in Tanah Papua, the Vice President is scheduled to return to Jakarta on Friday (13/10/2023).

On this visit, the Vice President will ensure that the acceleration of Papua's special autonomy development remains in the commitment to protecting human rights, especially for Papuans (OAP). Not only that, he will also focus on the security approach zone, and urge the National Sports Grand Design program to be implemented by athletes, figures, and Papuans.
