Victims Of Working Accidents Of The Turap Project In Kali Serua Pondok Aren Examined By The Police

TANGERANG - Police are still investigating the case of project workers who were hit by a sheet pile during the normalization process of Kali Serua, in Pondok Kacang Barat, Pondok Aren, South Tangerang.

Pondok Aren Police Chief, Kompol Bambang Askar Sodiq said he had examined three witnesses who had just recovered from his wounds as a result of the incident.

It is known that five workers had work accidents. Two of them were lightly injured and one person died. The rest suffered fractures.

"Now the witnesses of the workers who have recovered (two workers) and another foreman are being examined," said Bambang when confirmed, Monday, October 9.

When asked if there were any suspects in this accident case, Bambang was reluctant to answer. Because it is still being investigated further.

He said that currently his party is still adjusting information to each other.

"We synchronize the testimony of the witnesses. Everything is in process," he concluded.

Previously, it was reported that the Head of Pondok Aren Police, Commissioner Bambang Askar Sodiq, said that his party had secured the project leader (pimpro) for the normalization of Kali Serua at Villa Bintaro Regency, East Pondok Kacang, Pondok Aren, South Tangerang after the work accident which resulted in the death of one person.

"We have secured all of the leadership of this project," said Bambang Askar Sodiq. Bambang suspects that there was an element of negligence by workers at the scene. This was marked by information that there was no personal safety equipment worn while working.

"Nothing, they ignore work safety. Not equipped with supporting equipment," he said.

Bambang said that until now his party had examined a number of witnesses. He did not deny that this case is likely to have other suspects.
