JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Honorary Court (MKD) Imron Amin said his party would hold an internal meeting to investigate whether or not there was a violation of the code of ethics committed by DPR Commission IV member Edward Tannur regarding the case of abuse by his son with the initials R against the victim Dini Sera Apriyanti (DSA). "The MKD will hold an internal meeting and will investigate whether there is a violation of the code of ethics," said Imron in his statement in Jakarta, Antara, Friday, October 6. An internal meeting will be held in the near future, while waiting for further investigations into cases of abuse that lead to death being handled by the Surabaya Police. "We are also waiting for developments on whether there is a violation of the code of ethics committed by parents who are suspected of being the perpetrators of the abuse to the point of taking someone's life," he said. He said the Surabaya Police were currently collecting evidence and CCTV camera footage related to the persecution incident in Surabaya, East Java, which went viral on social media. "While waiting for the results of the investigation and the Surabaya Police," he said. Previously, the chairman of the PKB faction of the DPR RI Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal confirmed that the perpetrator of the persecution of Dini Sera Apriyanti (DSA) which went viral on social media by the son of a member of the DPR from the PKB faction with the initials R was the son of a member of Commission IV DPR RI Edward Tannur. "We have confirmed to members of the PKB faction of the DPR RI on behalf of Edward Tannur, and he confirmed that R is his son," Cucun said in a statement received in Jakarta, Friday. Meanwhile, on Thursday, the Surabaya Police were investigating the death of Dini Sera Afrianti (DSA) who was allegedly unnatural, after being escorted by a couple and a number of friends on Thursday (5/10) in the morning.

The police have examined 15 witnesses including the victim's lover who is a child of a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives.
