JAKARA - Police conducted a crime scene (TKP) related to the death of a 6th grade elementary school student who died at SDN 06 Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta. The crime scene was carried out to determine the cause of death of the victim.

The examination at the crime scene was also to reveal information that the victim died because he was depressed because his friend was often bullied, so he decided to jump from the 4th floor of the school.

"We saw that this incident the victim, on behalf of SR, jumped from the 4th floor from the school," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Bintoro to reporters, Tuesday, September 26, evening.

Moreover, said Bintoro, there was evidence and CCTV footage showing that the victim climbed and jumped from the 4th floor of his elementary school.

Previously, it was reported that a class VI student died, after falling from the top of the school building at SDN 06, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta. The victim had received treatment at Fatmawati Hospital, South Jakarta.

The Head of Pesanggrahan Police, Kompol Tedjo Asmoro, confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Tuesday, September 26.

"That's right, it can't be helped (or died)," Tedjo said when confirmed, Tuesday, September 26.

Tedjo confirmed that the death toll was not an attempted suicide. However, because he played in the 4th floor of the school.

"Don't jump. He's playing at the pillar of falling, he's not committing suicide. There are also those who saw his position there from the teacher," he said.
