Failed To Overtake, Female Motorbike In Tangerang Killed Telindas Truck

TANGERANG - A woman named Sri Hastuti died on the spot after being run over by a trailer truck at Traffic Light Shinta, Bojong Jaya, karawaci, Tangerang City, Tuesday, September 26.

Head of Public Relations of the Tangerang City Metro Police, Kompol Aryono, said the incident began when the victim was riding a motorbike from Lippo to Tangerang. Arriving at the scene of the incident (TKP) the victim tried to overtake the truck in front of him.

"When it preceded from the left, it hit the middle tire on the left side of the truck driven by S, so that Penendra and his motorbike fell under the truck trailer. Then the motorcyclist was run over by a truck tire," Aryono said in his statement, Tuesday, September 26.

The incident attracted the attention of local residents and had caused traffic jams. Officers who received the report immediately went to the location to take the victim's body to the Tangerang District Hospital.

"The victim died at the scene and then the victim was taken to the Tangerang District Hospital," he concluded.
