Blind Jealousy Thinks There Is Another Lover, A Man In Batam Kills A Man Whose Feet

Batam City Police officers uncovered a murder case with the same-sex romance mode, and arrested a male suspect with the initials PAH (18).

"The method is hurt and wants to control the victim's property. The relationship between the victim and the suspect is a same-sex relationship," said Batam City Police Chief AKP Betty Novia as reported by ANTARA, Friday, September 22.

Betty explained that the incident that caused the victim with the initials S to die occurred in the Batam Center area, Batam City on Wednesday (20/9) night.

He said the murder of the victim by the suspect was based on heartache. The two of them only met one week at the perpetrator's workplace.

Within that week, they had walked and had same-sex relationships at a hotel in Batam.

However, in the last few days, the victim has always refused the suspect's invitation if he was invited to take a walk. That's what makes the suspect jealous, thinking the victim had another partner.

On Thursday (21/9), suddenly the victim took the suspect for a walk. That's when the suspect intended to kill the victim.

Then, the victim picked up the suspect and went for a walk and had dinner. After dinner, the victim then took the suspect to the hotel. However, the suspect sought a reason by inviting the victim to take a walk first.

"This suspect's position was carried by the victim. So the suspect pointed the victim to a quiet place, in that quiet place the victim stabbed the perpetrator with the knife he had provided. After the victim fell, the perpetrator took the victim's wallet and motorbike," he said.

After the incident, the police immediately moved after receiving reports from residents. Less than 24 hours, the suspect was arrested.

For his actions, the suspect is threatened with being subject to Article 340 of the Criminal Code regarding premeditated murder, with the threat of death or life imprisonment or a maximum imprisonment of 20 years.
