OIKN Prioritizes KPBU For ASN Residential Development At IKN Nusantara

JAKARTA - The Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) prioritizes cooperation between the government and business entities or KPBU for the construction of the state civil apparatus (ASN) residence in the State Capital (IKN) Nusantara, East Kalimantan. "Currently, the biggest opportunity in IKN is the housing sector. The KPBU that is most needed now is housing for ASN in IKN Nusantara," said Deputy for Funding and Investment of OIKN Agung Wicaksono at the Sewindu National Strategic Project event in Jakarta, Antara, Wednesday, September 13. Agung said that the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) had built 47 flat towers for ASN in IKN Nusantara using the APBN funds scheme. The construction of ASN housing in IKN Nusantara currently uses the APBN and KPBU scheme. ASN housing in IKN must of course be added and supported by the construction of ASN housing using the KPBU scheme from private investors. "We still need a lot of investment from the private sector in the construction of ASN housing in IKN. We from the investment aspect prioritize KPBU for housing that is initiativeal from the private sector or unsolicited," said Agung. Currently, continued Agung, there are 10 initiators from private investors for the construction of ASN housing at IKN Nusantara. The ten initiators are domestic and international investors, such as Malaysia, the consortium of China and Indonesia, and South Korea. The ASN residences built in IKN Nusantara can be in the form of landed houses and flats with the category stipulated in the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 3 of 2022 concerning the State Capital. In 2022-2024 is the period for moving the initial stages of the nation's capital, including ASN to IKN Nusantara. The celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17, 2024 at IKN Nusantara, East Kalimantan, became the starting point for the gradual transfer of the nation's capital city from DKI Jakarta to Nusantara. IKN Nusantara is the capital city of Indonesia's new country, which is stipulated and regulated by Law Number 3 of 2022.
