Assets Of The Drug Gembong Network Fredy Pratama Capai Rp10.5 Trillion, In Indonesia To Thailand

JAKARTA - The National Police confiscated Fredy Pratama's network assets worth IDR 10.5 trillion. The assets are the result of money laundering (TPPU) from the initial crime of narcotics trafficking.

"The assets of TPPU that have been confiscated and will be coordinated by Thailand are IDR 273.43 billion and if they are converted into drug evidence and TPPU assets, the value is quite fantastic, which is around IDR 10.5 trillion during 2020-2023," said the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Komjen Wahyu Widada, to reporters, Tuesday, September 12.

Kabareskrim detailed several assets of the Fredy Pratama network, including 10.2 tons of crystal methamphetamine which was converted to Rp10.5 trillion. Then, 116,346 ecstasy pills worth Rp63.99 billion.

"A total of 10.2 tons of methamphetamine has been destroyed because this case has been from 2020-2023, and now there are 120 kilograms left that have not been destroyed," he said.

"Then 116,346 ecstasy pills have also been destroyed with Rp4.82 billion in cash," Wahyu continued.

Furthermore, Rp31.6 billion in cash was confiscated by the Soekarno Hatta Airport Police from the results of the disclosure of the Fredy Pratama network.

"Meanwhile, from the TPPU, the total assets confiscated from the TPPU and Bareskrim Polri estimated around Rp. 111 billion in the form of land and building assets. Then 109 Banking accounts, 8 vehicles and also Fredy Pratama's assets in Thailand," Wahyu said.

Previously reported, Bareskrim Polri uncovered one of the largest drug networks in Indonesia. This network is controlled by Fredy Pratama.

The disclosure of this drug network is the result of the collaboration between the National Police and the Royal Malaysia Police, the Royal Thai Police, and the US-DEA. Sebanyyak 39 members of the drug network Fredy Pratama were arrested.

"In this operation, 39 people were arrested for the period May 2023 until now," said Wahyu.
