Tracking Panji Gumilang's Assets, Bareskrim Checks 3 Witnesses Of The Indramayu BPN Office

The Directorate of Special Economic Crimes at Bareskrim Polri has examined 25 witnesses, three of whom are the Indramayu Regency BPN Office. The examination is suspected to be in order to track Panji Gumilang's assets in the corruption of the School Operational Assistance Fund (BOS) and TPPU.

"There are three people (Witnesses) of BPN Indramayu," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, quoted Monday, September 11.

Meanwhile, other witnesses are recipients and lenders, former members of the Indonesian Islamic Boarding School Foundation (YPI), and so on.

Then, said Ramadhan, investigators confiscated several documents, including the JTrust Investment credit agreement, a photocopy of the legalization of the SHM which was installed at the Jtrust Investment.

"There is a land book in the name of PG and his family at BPN Indramayu Regency," said Ramadhan.

In addition, investigators have also blocked 144 accounts in the name of Panji Gumilang and affiliated legal entities. Of the hundreds of accounts, 96 of them were privately owned by the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School leader.

"45 Bank Mandiri accounts on behalf of YPI, LKM, CV. Parikesit, and PT SBMK. Then, 3 BNI Bank accounts on behalf of YPI, LKM, CV. Parikesit, and PT. SBMK," said Ramadhan.

The alleged case of TPPU Panji Gumilang has been upgraded to the investigation stage. This means that it is believed that there was a criminal offense that occurred.

Panji Gumilang is suspected of violating Article 3 of Law Number 8 of 2020 concerning the Crime of Money Laundering which carries a penalty of 20 years.

Then, the Criminal Code of the Article 70 Foundation in conjunction with Article 5 of Law Number 28 of 2004 concerning amendments to Law Number 16 of 2021. The penalty is 5 years in prison

The crime of embezzlement of Article 372 of the Criminal Code carries a penalty of 8 years and a criminal act of corruption under Article 2 of the Corruption Eradication Law.
