In Debt, A Man From Gresik Breaks Into A Minimarket ATM In Jembrana Bali

Jembrana Police, Bali, arrested Andi Rahman from Gresik, East Java, for breaking into a minimarket ATM in Banyubiru Village, Negara, Jembrana.

Jembrana Police Chief AKBP I Dewa Gde Juliana said the perpetrator tried to break into the ATM machine on Sunday (20/8). The action failed and was caught on surveillance cameras or CCTV.

"That the perpetrator attempted to break into an ATM machine to take the money that was in the BCA ATM machine," said AKBP Juliana, Monday, September 4.

The perpetrator's actions were revealed after BCA technicians got a report about the ATM machine that sounded. The police also arrested the perpetrator.

ATM burglary was carried out by perpetrators who were in debt by entering through the roof of the minimarket.

The perpetrator burst into the ceiling and got off and broke into the ATM. At around 05.10 WITA, the perpetrator heard the sound of a knock from the rolling door. The perpetrator rushed away.

"The motive was that the perpetrator attempted to break into an ATM machine because he was in debt," he said.
