Lukas Enembe Allegedly Ordered Flight Attendants For Tens Of Billions Using Private Aircraft

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has examined a flight attendant named Selvi Purnama Sari in the money laundering case that ensnared the inactive Papua Governor Lukas Enembe. Investigators have investigated an order to deliver money using a private plane.

"Witnesses were present and their knowledge was explored, among others, related to the alleged delivery of money," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Friday, August 25.

The amount sent by plane reached tens of billions of rupiah. However, Ali did not specify the exact amount and origin.

Meanwhile, based on information collected, Lukas allegedly ordered tens of billions of money to be sent outside Papua. The use of it will still be investigated by investigators from other witnesses.

Diberitakan sebelumnya, Lukas diduga menerima suap dari Direktur PT Tabi Bangun Papua, Rijatono Lakka. Sementara gratifikasi diduga diberikan pihak swasta lain agar mendapat proyek di Papua.

Tak hanya itu, Lukas dijerat dengan dugaan pidana pencucian uang. Langkah ini dilakukan setelah komisi antirasuah mengembangkan kasus suap dan gratifikasi yang menjeratnya.

Regarding money laundering, 27 of Lukas' assets were confiscated by the KPK. Among them are money worth Rp. 81,628,693,000; 5,100 US dollars; and 26,300 Singapore dollars; assets in the form of land and buildings; as well as precious metals.
