Prosecutor Rejects All Pledoi Mario Dandy: The Facts Of The Trial Are Behind

JAKARTA - The Public Prosecutor (JPU) rejected and denied all arguments from the defendant Mario Dandy Satriyo and his attorney as stated in the memorandum of defense or plea.

The prosecutor's attitude was expressed when he read out the replica or answer to the pledoi in the trial of the alleged severe abuse case against David Ozora which was held at the South Jakarta District Court, Thursday, August 24.

"The panel of judges that we honor, the honorable brother of the legal advisory team, basically we as the public prosecutor team reject and deny all the arguments from the legal advisory team or defendants in the plea," said the prosecutor.

According to the prosecutor, the pledoi conveyed by the defendant Mario Dandy Satriyo and his attorney were only a few parts or pieces of the series of events.

Moreover, in this case, David Ozora as a victim must get justice by prioritizing morality, human values, the value of justice and the value of truth.

"The information in the pledoi does not describe the facts that actually happened," he said.

In fact, the prosecutor emphasized that if all the evidence, witness statements and experts are assembled into a series of stories, then all the pleas from the defendant Mario Dandy Satriyo and his attorneys will be refuted.

In a series of complete facts, it is described that Mario Dandy has a clear role or involvement ranging from planning to persecution of David Ozora.

"By using a series of facts of the trial as a whole, it will be seen that a fact that is contrary to what was stated by either the legal advisory team or the defendant in their pledoi which clearly describes the defendant's involvement as a perpetrator in a criminal act, participating in severe persecution with the plan first," said the prosecutor.

Meanwhile, at the previous trial, Mario in his pledoi said that he did not expect the incident to happen. Because, he claims to be an individual who does not like violence.

"I never imagined I could do violence that shouldn't have been in the meeting. I really regret that incident. Because basically, there was no intention or plan to commit violence," said Mario.

Mario Dandy Satriyo was charged with imprisonment for 12 years. This is because Mario is considered legally proven and convincingly guilty in the case of alleged severe abuse against David Ozora.

In addition, Rafael Alun Trisambodo's son is burdened with paying restitution of Rp120 billion. If Mario is unable to pay, then, there is an additional penalty in the form of imprisonment for 7 years
