PKB: Determination Of Prabowo's Vice Presidential Candidate From The Sentul Charter

JAKARTA - Spokesperson for the National Awakening Party (PKB) Mikhaya Sinaga stated that the determination of the presidential candidate (cawapres) for Prabowo Subianto was based on the decision of the Sentul charter.

"In the Sentul charter between Gerindra and PKB, we are committed that the pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates will be decided together by Pak Prabowo and Gus Muhaimin," he said in a written statement reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 16.

The affirmation was made in response to the joining of the Golkar Party and the National Mandate Party in the Greater Indonesia Awakening Coalition (KKIR).

The joining of the two political parties is called, because they see potential loopholes to encourage the vice presidential candidate. However, said Milik, PKB asked the two newly joined parties to respect the coalition agreement that had long been formed with Gerindra.

According to him, the certificate of the declaration of the four political parties is complete in the Sentul charter between Gerindra and PKB.

"So that it doesn't change and will be decided in the near future," he said.

Regarding when Prabowo's companion will be determined, Mikhael said that it was time for Gerindra and PKB and other coalition partners to immediately provide news.

"Until now, the front candidate is Gus Muhaimin, and we are sure that this couple will be announced at the right time," he asserted.
