Prabowo-Ganjar Proposed By Projo Bali To Become A Paslon For The 2024 Presidential Election, Will Be Escorted Until The National Working Meeting In October 2023

BALI - The Regional Conference (Konferda) of the DPD Projo of Bali Province proposed Prabowo Subianto-Ganjar Pranowo as a candidate pair (paslon) for president and vice presidential candidates in the 2024 election.

The elected chairman of the DPD Projo of Bali Province, I Gusti Agung Ronny Indra Wijaya, said that the results of the conference were to be fought for at the VI Projo National Working Meeting in October 2023.

"We need a leader who is firm, intelligent and brave to continue government programs," he said after the implementation of the conference in Denpasar, Bali, Sunday, August 13, was confiscated by Antara.

He added that the reason Projo Bali proposed the Minister of Defense and General Chair of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto as a presidential candidate and the Governor of Central Java (Central Java) Ganjar Pranowo as vice presidential candidates was because both of them had criteria as leaders who were firm, intelligent and courageous.

"Why do we place Pak Ganjar in the vice presidential candidate because of our closeness as friends," he said.

Ronny emphasized that Projo is not PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) even though the organization's flag is red.

"We have a lot of colors here. This Projo belongs to the Indonesian people. The voice of the people is the voice of Projo," he said.

He said that Prabowo-Ganjar's proposal was still limited to Projo Bali and the decision of the confederation would be escorted to the Projo National Working Meeting.

"We are waiting for the results of the Projo National Working Meeting in October. Bali is perpendicular to the decision of the National Working Meeting," said Agung Ronny in response to questions about the possibility of the results of the National Working Meeting being different from Projo Bali's proposal.

Projo Bali, he continued, really wants national unity and the implementation of the 2024 General Election which will take place to be conducive, calm and comfortable. "Our aspirations are national unity, these two elements must unite and we unite," he said.

The Projo Bali Conference in addition to deciding on the proposals of Prabowo and Ganjar, as well as the ratification and determination of I Gusti Agung Ronny Indra Wijaya as elected chairman.

In addition, the determination of the National Agenda consisting of the fulfillment and protection of the basic rights of the people, namely education, health, the livelihood of national unity and the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia, diversity, and prevent intolerance.

Meanwhile, the people's priority program agenda is set to consist of job availability and job opportunities, free and quality education, as well as free and decent health services.

Furthermore, the increase in wages and people's purchasing power, agricultural capital assistance and cheap fertilizer, fulfillment of electricity and cheap fuel, construction of the New Capital City (IKN Nusantara), fulfillment of cheap basic necessities, construction of roads and toll roads throughout Indonesia, prevention of stunting and continuing agrarian reform.
