Jatinegara Police Chief Dies After Zuhur Prayer

JAKARTA - Jatinegara Police Chief Kompol Entong Raharja died at the Police Hospital, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, after the Zuhur prayer at his prayer room.

"After performing Zuhur prayers at the Jatinegara Police Mushalla at 12.30 WIB, the deceased continued the sunnah prayer in two rakaats. However, only one meeting of the deceased fell to the back and hit his head with a tile," said Head of the Public Relations Section of the Jatinegara Police, Aiptu Rina, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 8.

The late Entongs had time to get first aid before being taken to the Police Hospital. Arriving at the Police Hospital at around 12:45 WIB, go straight to the emergency room for medical treatment.

However, said Rina, the National Police Hospital announced that Kompol Entong died at around 13.43 WIB.

"From the diagnosis of the doctor at the National Police Hospital, the Jatinegara Police Chief had a heart attack," said Rina.

The death of Entong seemed to bring deep sorrow to the ranks of the Jatinegara Police and the East Jakarta Metro Police who had been serving with the deceased.

They were seen arriving at the funeral home of the Kramat Jati Police Hospital where Entong's body was buried to convey his condolences to the Entong family.

In addition, the Head of the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, Brigadier General Hariyanto, directly expressed his condolences to the Entong Raharja family.

Prior to serving as Head of Jatinegara Police, Entong was noted to have served as a member of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Reskrim) with a history of his position as Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Jatinegara Police.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cipayung Police, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kramat Jati Police, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Pasar Rebo Police, and the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Ciracas Police, to a number of positions at the East Jakarta Metro Police.

It is planned that Entong's body will be buried at the Munjul Public Cemetery (TPU), Cipayung District, East Jakarta.
