KPI Asked To Firmly Give Sanctions To TV Stations Showing Artists With LGBT Nuances

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) was asked to give strict sanctions to private television stations broadcasting a program full of LGBT campaign loads. This was conveyed by a member of the DPD RI from Aceh, Sudirman.

This senator responded to the summons of the Trans TV line by KPI on Thursday, August 3 regarding the broadcast of the Ambyar Morning- Morning program which presented Lucinta Luna and her same-sex couples.

"What Trans TV has done with the Morning- Morning Ambyar program is highly intolerable. Deliberately or not, this has participated in campaigning for LGBT which is opposed by the majority of the people and all religions in Indonesia", said Sudirman in a written statement received, Sunday, August 6.

According to him, KPI must give strict sanctions regarding this matter. One of them is to revoke the broadcast permit for the program. Remembering, the screening of Lucinta Luna and her partner was repeated or more.
