JABAR - The term of office of the Governor of West Java (Jabar) Ridwan Kamil will end on September 5, 2023. So that in accordance with applicable regulations, the West Java DPRD announced the proposal for the dismissal of the Governor and Deputy Governor (Deputy Governor) of West Java for the 2018-2023 term of office in the West Java DPRD plenary meeting in Bandung City, Tuesday, July 1. The news of the proposal was then signed by the leadership of the West Java DPRD, Ridwan Kamil and the Deputy Governor of West Java, Uu Ruzhanul Ulum. Furthermore, the minutes will be submitted to the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri). Met after the plenary meeting, Ridwan Kamil said that the announcement was an administrative stage that must be passed before ending his position and counted 34 days his position will end.

"It doesn't feel like it's been 5 years from September 5, 2018 to September 5, 2023. We still have a month of work to do," said Ridwan Kamil. He said that in the next month there will be several important agendas that he will carry out, including the inauguration of the Kujang A Pair monument in Sumedang, the inauguration of Situ Bagendit Garut, to the inauguration of the Jakarta Bandung high-speed train operations with President Joko Widodo. "And other work that is still our spirit in the last four weeks," he said.
