Survey: Erick Thohir Wins In Java And Muslim Voters

JAKARTA - The ethnic Javanese and Muslim are the decisive factors in the 2024 democratic party. Those who master the two categories have a great chance of winning.

The results were quite surprising from a survey conducted by the Indonesian Political Indicators announced by the main researcher Burhanuddin Muhtadi Sunday afternoon, July 23. It turned out that Erick Thohir's name came out as the winner of the vice presidential candidate (cawapres) in the two important categories.

In the list of questions from five vice presidential candidates according to demographics, based on ethnicity, in ethnic Erick Thohir, although not Javanese, they actually won by 25 percent, defeating Sandiaga Uno 18.7 percent, Ridwan Kamil 17.3 percent, Khofifah Indar Parawansa 14.3 percent and Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono 9.9 percent.

Ethnics who also supported Erick Thohir a lot based on the survey results were Minang with 42.9 percent, beating Sandiaga Uno 32.9 percent, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono 14.6 percent, Ridwan Kamil 5.9 percent, the name Khofifah Indar Parawansa did not get a vote from the Minang ethnic group.

Based on Muslim voters in the survey, Erick Thohir was also able to excel even though he was thin. The general chairman of PSSI won 21.8 percent, close to Ridwan Kamil 21.2 percent, Sandiaga Uno 18.8 percent, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono 13.3 percent, Khofifah Indar Parawansa actually occupies the most distended with 10.9 percent.

In the eyes of Nahdliyin as a member of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), Erick Thohir, who was also the chairman of NU's century, won 24.5 percent, ahead of Ridwan Kamil 21 percent, Sandiaga Uno 16.9 percent, Khofifah Indar Parawansa 14.4 percent and Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono 10.5 percent.
