Threatening Residents With Toy Firearms, 2 Motorcycle Gang Members In Sukabumi Arrested

Sukabumi Police managed to arrest two members of the XTC motorcycle gang who threatened to use a toy firearm (Senpi) to residents in Al-Furqon Village, Sukabumi Regency, West Java on Sunday, Yesterday.

"There were two perpetrators of threats in Cisolok Village/District who were arrested, one of whom was the perpetrator of threats using firearms," said Sukabumi Police Chief AKBP Maruly Pardede, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 17.

The two perpetrators who were arrested in the early hours of Monday at their respective homes were AG alias Arab, (26) a resident of Jembatan II Village, Palabuhanratu Village/AI District alias Awan (19) a resident of Cipeuteuy Village, Palabughanratu Village, Sukabumi Regency.

According to Maruly, the two perpetrators had different roles in the threatening action where the victim, Sigit, was chased and threatened by the two suspects. Even to scare and threaten the victim, the perpetrator carried items in the form of firearms.

Based on the results of the investigation of the firearms carried by the perpetrators, it turned out to be just a match that resembled a gun. In the incident there was an act of threats of violence against the victim, it was carried out by AG alias Arab while AI alias Awan also threatened the victim on behalf of Sigit and as the perpetrator who was carrying a motorbike carrying an Arab perpetrator in the incident.

In addition to arresting the suspect AI, his party also confiscated evidence of a match in the form of a firearm, a black XTC jacket that reads War Team and a black hat.

Meanwhile, from AG's hands, various types of illegal hard drugs were found including 10 Tramadol packages, two Riclonazepam packages, one Excimer package, 14 Merlopam pills, two Lorazepam pills, eight Tramadol pills, 13 Alprazolam pills and Rp80 thousand in cash.

The perpetrators are subject to Article 335 paragraph (1) to 1e of the Criminal Code with the threat of imprisonment for a maximum of one year. Meanwhile, for suspect AG, his party is still developing cases of illegal possession of limited hard drugs by investigators from the Sukabumi Police Narcotics Unit who may be charged with multiple articles.
