Separated From Wife, Hajj Pilgrim Named Suharja Found Dead And Will Pray At The Grand Mosque

JAKARTA - Hajj Organizers (PPIH) managed to find Suharja dead, and will undergo all stages of handling the bodies including praying at the Grand Mosque. Director General (Dirjen) of Hajj and Umrah (PHU) Hilman Latief confirmed that Hajj participants on behalf of Suharja Wardi Ardi (69 years old) who were missing in Arafah had been found by the congregation's protection team (Linjam) in a state of death in the morgue (tsallajah) of the Mu'aisyim Hospital, Mina, Makkah. "Alhamdulillah, today, at 15.00 Saudi Arabia time, I and the Head of the Criminal Code Nasrullah Jasam, the Head of Linjam Haji Colonel Laut Harun Arrasyid (Head of the Binroh Disbintalal Headquarters of the Indonesian Navy Cilangkap East Jakarta), Kadaker Madinah Zaenal Muttaqin, and the team, jointly visited Markaz at-Thib asy-Syar'iy bi Shihhah al-Mekkah al Mukarnath," said Hilman Latief in Mecca, Antara, Sunday, July 16. Suharja was separated from his wife, Aat when the two went to the toilet in Arafah. According to Hilman, Suharja's body was found without an identity bracelet, so direct testimony was needed from the closest family. The process of verifying the bodies was carried out at the Markaz at-Thib asy-Syar'iy bi Shihhah al-Makkah al Mukarramah or the Forensic Medicine Center of Mecca by presenting the wife of the late Suharja, Mrs. Aat. The team, said Hilman, escorted Mrs. Hj Aat from Majalengka, batch 10 of the Kertajati or KJT 10 Embarkation which was specially imported from Medina. Aat's mother was escorted by Kadaker Medina to Mecca with a kloster doctor and two other companions. "We took Mrs. Hj Aat to the Forensic Medicine Center of Mecca to ensure the condition of the congregation that was found by the Linjam team. We invite Mrs. Hj Aat to see the body and make sure that it is the body of her husband who was separated while in Arafah," he said. Along with Suharja's identity certainty, Hilman said that his party would immediately take care of the process of bathing the deceased's body. PPIH is also processing so that the body can be prayed at the Grand Mosque and buried immediately. "We are in the process of bathing and so that we can pray at the Grand Mosque, and be buried immediately," said Hilman.

With the discovery of Suharja's body, currently there is still one Hajj participant who is still being sought, namely Idun Rohim Zen (87) who is part of the 20th Election of Palembang.
