Puan Says Ganjar's Vice Presidential Candidate Will Be Present At The Peak Of Bung Karno's Month Saturday Tomorrow

Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP Puan Maharani said a number of figures entered the vice presidential candidate (cawapres) market accompanying Ganjar Pranowo would attend the peak of Bung Karno's Month commemoration on Saturday, June 24.

In fact, some of them have never been conveyed to the public.

"It could be that from the people who will later attend are the vice president's readings from the PDI-P presidential reading that I have never mentioned, or maybe it is not yet visible," Puan told reporters while reviewing preparations for the peak of BBK commemoration, Thursday, June 22.

"Because that's where we will see that, there will be new faces or old faces that we have been watching so far to become one of the PDIP vice presidents," he continued.

In addition, PDIP invited a number of political parties and general chairmen to attend. They are PPP, Perindo, and Hanura who have become supporters of Ganjar in the 2024 presidential election.

Meanwhile, regarding the possibility of the presence of the Democrats and the General Chairperson of Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Puan did not want to talk. This is because the Secretary General of PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto arranged an invitation to the party externally.

It is known that the PDIP-Democrat relationship is now close after a meeting between Puan and AHY some time ago. The two met to talk and discuss nationality.

"We will see whether the Democrat party or the Democrat chairman will invite us or not. We will still see first the invitation, whoever, the secretary general will take care of anyone who will be invited," he said.

Finally, PDIP will also invite ministers in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet. However, Puan has not been able to confirm anyone.

"Some of the cabinet ministers we invite, because some of the others we confirm, it turns out that the person concerned is serving outside the city or service abroad. So maybe someone is present, some are not," he concluded.
