BENGKULU - Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (MA) Syarifuddin reminded that eradicating the legal mafia cannot be done by individuals, but there must be work with all parties.

"Yes, eradicating the legal mafia, we (all parties) must work together, we cannot just leave it to someone, we must all participate in eradicating the legal mafia," said Chief Justice of the Supreme Court) Syarifuddin in Bengkulu as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 6.

The most obvious thing, he said, was that eradicating the legal mafia was starting with oneself and going through simple things. Syarifuddin said instead the action would be more effective in preventing and eradicating the legal mafia.

"The real thing is, starting from small ones, from now on, don't violate the law, when everything starts from there, together in the future it will get better," he said,

Syarifuddin reminded this when he visited Bengkulu to inaugurate the Secretariat of the Regional Leadership Council of the Alumni Family Association of the Indonesian Islamic University of Bengkulu Province.

He also left a message to IKA UII in Bengkulu to be the best and participate in developing the country, especially Bengkulu Province in the future.

According to Syarifuddin, UII alumni should be at the forefront of having a positive impact on society and in prospering the nation and state.

"Ready at any time to carry out orders to prosper the country, so far UII alumni have always been at the forefront by bringing UII banners to provide great assistance to the community, this is expected to remain so, of course, in line with the local government implementing positive activities for the community," he said.
