Gas Cylinder Explodes In Arcamanik Bandung, 3 Kindergarten Children Taken To Hospital

The Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) fled three kindergarten children (TK) to the hospital due to burns due to LPG gas belonging to a trader that exploded in the West Java Sport Arcamanik yard, Bandung City, West Java.

PMI Bandung City Officer Nia Kurniati said, apart from three kindergarten children, there were two teachers who also suffered burns.

According to him, the five people had been referred to St. Yusup Hospital for medical treatment.

"A total of five victims, three kindergarten boys all and two accompanying teachers," Nia said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, JNI 6.

Of the five victims, according to him, one kindergarten child suffered severe injuries due to burns to his face, neck, chest and back.

Meanwhile, according to him, two other children suffered injuries to their faces and hair, then two teachers suffered injuries to their faces and hands.

According to Nia Kurniati, the children of the kindergarten who were victims of the exploding gas were on average six years old. They were injured when they were near a gas cylinder that exploded belonging to a sausage trader.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Arcamanik Police, Kompol Adi Suryanto, said that in the West Java Sport Arcamanik area, there was a graduation activity for students throughout the city of Bandung.

During the event, according to him, there were indeed many residents who were selling various types of snacks, including sausage traders whose gas cylinders exploded.

According to him, the sausage trader was cooperative with the disaster. The merchant, he said, was willing to help the victims recover.

"Many are selling, there are people selling balloons and sausages using gas cylinders. Coincidentally it exploded there," said Adi Suryanto.
