The Central Lombok Police Narcotics Investigation Unit, West Nusa Tenggara, arrested a member of the local DPRD with the initials RF (35) for allegedly consuming methamphetamine. "There were three perpetrators who were arrested, one person is a member of the Central Lombok DPRD," said Central Lombok Police Chief, AKBP Irfan Nurmansyah at a press conference in Praya, quoted from Antara, Monday, May 29. Apart from RF, a resident of Praya, he said, two other perpetrators, namely the initials BRP (36) a resident of Praya who is a student and the initials IBS (27) a resident of Jonggat who works as an entrepreneur. The police chief said that apart from securing the perpetrators, his party also confiscated evidence in the form of 0.37 grams of methamphetamine, suction devices and cell phones (HP). "The perpetrators were arrested while having a drug party at a house in Jonggat District, and their urine test results were positive for drugs," he said. According to him, this case was revealed after his party received a report from the public, so the police conducted an investigation and ambush while the perpetrator was having a drug party at the house. "We are still developing this case to reveal the network of other perpetrators," he said The police chief said that the actions of the perpetrators were charged with Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics Article 127 with a minimum imprisonment of four years and a maximum of 12 years in prison. Previously, the Central Lombok DPRD held an interim replacement (PAW) for a local council member from the Berkarya Party, namely H Ihwan Sutrisno, who was replaced by RF, Thursday (12/1/2023). Chairman of the Central Lombok DPRD, M Tauhid in Praya, Thursday said that the PAW was carried out based on the Decree of the Governor of NTB number 171.2-876 of 2022 concerning the inauguration of the appointment of interim replacement (PAW) for members of the Central Lombok Regency DPRD, RF. The remaining 2019-2024 term of office and the Decree of the Governor of NTB number 171.3-876 of 2022 concerning the inauguration of the interim dismissal of members of the Central Lombok DPRD, Ihwan Sutrisno for the 2019-2024 term.
