Anies Baswedan: Momentum Of Eid Al-Fitr 1444 Hijri, Gather Together And Forgive Each Other

"Allow us to congratulate Eid al-Fitr 1444 H, apologize physically and mentally. God willing, this will be our beginning to be better in the future," said the Minister of Education and Culture 2014-2016 in the Jokowi-Jusuf Kalla government Working Cabinet. He also hopes that the worship carried out in the holy month of Ramadan this year can be accepted and multiplied, until the degree of "muttaqin" (the people who fear).

When asked about the reason for choosing the Istiqlal Mosque for Eid prayers, Anies answered briefly and intriguingly.

Meanwhile, regarding the sermon delivered by the Chancellor of the Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University, Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, who was the preacher at Eid prayer this time discussed piety.

"The piety does not become instantaneous, but it is passed by the stages of worship and obedience continuously so that a strong and resilient person is formed," said Asep.

"Makna fitri is holy and clean, meaning that now after fasting, it is hoped that it will be clean and holy again and reach the muttaqin degree. This derajat can only be achieved by those who fast solemnly and sincerely, and those who have finished with themselves," said Asep Saepudin.
