ISC Survey: Prabowo Subianto Superior From Ganjar And Anies

JAKARTA - Senior Indonesia Survey Center (ISC) researcher, Chairul Ansari said, Prabowo Subianto is still at the top of three public perspective factors, both in terms of electability, popularity and likeability or level of liking. "The public majority still put Prabowo at the highest level both popularity and likeability, following Ganjar and Anies in second and third positions," Chairul said in an electronic message received in Jakarta, Tuesday, April 11. Based on survey data released, the level of popularity of several figures included Prabowo Subianto 96.7 percent, Ganjar Pranowo 91 percent, Anies Baswedan 89.7 percent, Airlangga Hartarto 88.5 percent, Sandiaga Uno 86.6 percent, Ridwan Kamil 86 percent and Muhaimin Iskandar 85.4 percent. Meanwhile, for the level of likeability or liking, Prabowo Subianto is still superior to the names of other figures. Among others, Prabowo Subianto: 89.7 percent, Ganjar Pranowo 84.3 percent, Anies Baswedan 84 percent and Ridwan Kamil 82.1 percent. When respondents were asked if the presidential election was held today, the public's answer still showed that Prabowo Subianto was their main choice. "Prabowo Subianto 33.5 percent, Ganjar Pranowo: 18.4 percent, Anies Baswedan 18.2 percent and Ridwan Kamil 5.2 percent. In the question of electability simulation for 12 presidential candidates, Prabowo continued to lead in the first position with 33.5 percent electability," said Chairul. Seeing this data, he explained why Prabowo Subianto's name is still at the top today. One of them is the question of Prabowo Subianto's performance as Minister of Defense in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet, which is considered by the public to be still very good. According to Chairul, this brilliant performance is also considered capable of contributing to supporting and maintaining positive sentiment towards the performance of the Jokowi government. The second reason is about the attitude and treatment of President Joko Widodo to Prabowo Subianto recently. "Jokowi's endorsement of Prabowo. We know that Jokowi's factor in his success in winning the 2024 election contestation is very important, considering that Jokowi's loyal voters are still quite significant," he explained. Moreover, said Chairiul, President Jokowi's strong voters are strongly suspected of still making him a reference leader in determining support for the President for the following period. The survey was conducted in a time-deficient March 27-6 April 2023 using a multistage random sampling technique of variant random sampling area. The sample sampled is a resident aged at least 17 years and over and or who has been married by 1,520 respondents with a Margin of Error (MoE) ± 2.5 percent and Confidence Interval 95 percent. The data collection in the survey was conducted through direct interviews with the help of a questionnaire.
