Yellow Submarine, G-Pluck Special Song For Special Fans At Beatleweek Festival

JAKARTA - The music unit specializing in the singer of The Beatles songs, G-Pluck, performed a request song for one of the fans with special needs named Paula on the second day of the Liverpool International Beatleweek Festival 2023.

"We performed Paula here who loves The Beatles very much and liked the song 'Yellow Submarine'. Let's play it at a maintained tempo, yes!" asked the bass player G-Pluck Awan Garnida to his colleagues on stage in Liverpool, Great Britain, Thursday (24/8) local time, quoted by Antara.

So, the song written by Paul McCartney and John Lennon from the 1966 album Revolver also played smoothly accompanied by a mass column of Beatleweek Festival audiences and of course Paula who looked very happy.

In this appearance, G-Pluck, fronted by Garnida Clouds (bass), Gilang Pramudya (guitar/vocals), Fery Gustian (guitar/vocals), Beni Pratama (drums), and Aufa Kantadiredja (keyboard/vocals), played on the stage of the Cavern Club Front with the nuances of rubanah which reminded every Beatles music connoisseur in the early days of John Lennon et al's career.

"Playing in Cavern made me nervous because this place is very monumental for The Beatles' career. Here, I feel like the presence of the late George Harrison and John Lennon who paid attention to my guitar playing in every song," said guitarist G-Pluck Fery Gustian with a smile.

Playing for about 45 minutes, on this appearance G-Pluck performed a number of hit numbers including "Rock 'n' Roll fire", "Twist and Shout", "I Want to Hold Your Hand", "In My Life", "Please Please Me", "She Loves You", "Rock 'n' Roll Music", and "If I Fell".

Meanwhile, one of the great admirers of The Beatles namedLAH from Liverpool, admitted that G-Pluck's expertise in performing The Fab Four's songs. According to him, G-Pluck deserves to hold the title as one of the best tribute bands of The Beatles to appear at the Liverpool International Beatleweek Festival 2023.

"This Band (G-Pluck) really looks good in everything. For example, the accuracy of playing the notes, song lyrics, selection of song sequences, styles of dress, to the ability to master audiences," praised shota who is also a member of a band called Charisma.

In the Netherlands, G-Pluck will appear in Langweer Friesland, Cafe de Welp Reduzum, and Tong Tong Fair The Hague. After that, they will continue their journey to Germany to play at the Alte Feuerwache Köln and the Hamburg Club Indra.
