Maudy Ayunda And Kim Bum Reportedly Starring In The Second Country, Film Hero From Garut

JAKARTA - The latest news came from Maudy Ayunda and Kim Bum. They are rumored to be competing in acting in the latest film titled the second country.

This was stated by the Garut Government which stated that there was collaboration between Garut and South Korea. The film itself will tell the struggle of a Korean youth during the 2nd World War.

Kim Bum reportedly played the character Yang Chil Seong, a young man from South Korea who helped the people of Garut fight the invaders and helped the people of Garut in the '40s.

Later Kim Bum will change her name and marry a woman from Garut. The woman is reportedly played by Maudy Ayunda even though her name has not been revealed.

In its history, Yang Chil Seong is someone who also has the name Schisei Yanagawa. When he arrived in Indonesia, he changed his name to Komarudin and fought the Dutch colonialism of the 2nd World War.

His struggle received appreciation from the Indonesian government. In July 1995, he received respect as his performance in defending Indonesia.

Kim Bum himself is busy with fan meeting tours in several countries, including Indonesia. He is scheduled to visit Jakarta this week, September 3, 2023.

The fan meeting tour will last until next October. Kim Bum last starred in the drama Tale of Nine Tailed 1938.

If this news is true, then this film will be Maudy Ayunda's latest work after starring in Losmen Bu Broto for the last time in 2021.
